The first outfit created by Carol Spencer for Mattel is "Crisp 'N Cool" # 1604, released in 1964. At that time, and for many years to come, Mattel does not believe that it would interest buyers the name of the designer who produced the given head or complete. In the vast production of Carol Spencer there are the so-called self-contained outifts and clothing created instead to be worn by a Barbie inside a pack.
